About the Winemaker
Domaine Jones Winery is situated in the South of France and renowned for their classic and rare red grapes such as Carignan. They have earned an excellent reputation for successfully harvesting from very old vines aged 40 to 100 years that have survived the tougher condition of steep hills resulting in excellent quality.
They also have a philosophy of only producing wine with the grapes grown in the same vineyard, and this infuses the scent of soil in to every bottle produced. Following this philosophy means that everything has to be done by hand and requires lot of hard work as well as a lot of space, but with a little help from the area’s historic location - Tuchan Express Train’s shed last used in 1905 - and some dedication, they offer a great unique wine making every drop count.
